John Simons – Director

John

I’ve always been interested in music. In elementary school till I graduated I played trombone. When I was thirteen I was given a guitar and that’s when I knew this was my calling. I am pretty much self taught and have been in many bands, some successful and some not. I traveled down the road of drugs and alcohol and had a lot if bumps in my life that caused a lot of bruises. But through that long journey of mess ups, I was always spared from serious injury or death. A lot of those experiences I look back on and know without God’s protective hand, I wouldn’t be here today. When I surrendered to His will for me, I knew that this ministry was what I was spared for. To tell the world of Jesus and his saving Grace. As I walk, I know Jesus has my back. When problems arise, I say Give It To God.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

John is a Director of the Coalition to Save Lives, it is his vision, and that of his band Roman’s Road that began the Save a Life Tour. His heart for spreading the Gospel of Hope overflows with love and generosity for all of God’s children. He is a Factory Representative and Service Technician full time, and lives with his wife Kim and five children in Collegeville, PA
